My Story
My journey in the event industry began in 1992 at the New Jersey International Auto Show. My uncle was producing the show, and I got a behind-the-scenes look at the forklifts buzzing, booths being built, AV checks on stage, and an entire world working in sync to open the doors. From that moment, I was hooked.
As a teenager, my uncle taught me the business while I worked alongside him. From opening Brede’s Phoenix office to later running his operations in Pennsylvania, I gained hands-on experience with every detail—staffing, logistics, compliance, payroll, and budgets. His attention to detail became my standard, and those years laid the foundation for my career.
In 2003, I joined Freeman, fulfilling a dream I had chased since my early days subcontracting with their Denver team. For the next fifteen years, I climbed the corporate ladder, managing major events and shaping my reputation in the industry. Then came the pandemic, which forced me to pivot. I launched Rockthentic Footwear, a sneaker reselling company, which taught me the realities of building and running a business from the ground up.
But event operations has always been in my blood. In 2022, I took the leap, negotiated my own independent contractor agreement, and founded RockOps. Today, I bring the same unmatched passion, precision, and outside-the-box problem solving to every project I take on. With decades of experience across show management, freight, and operations, I built RockOps to deliver a standard of service that stands apart in the industry.
